A private cove at the quiet end of the Calamianes — twelve villas, a house reef, and nothing urgent for miles.
Dalisay was never meant to be a hotel. It is a house on an island that happens to have twelve rooms, a long table, and a reef at the foot of the garden. You are not checked in — you are expected.

No activity sheet, no schedule pinned to a board. Just the shape a day tends to take when the tide is in charge.
05:48 — First light
The water is glass at dawn. Slip off your villa ladder and drift over the house reef while the kitchen sets coffee and warm pandesal on your deck.
11:00 — High sun
Kuya Edong runs the house banca to a sandbar that only exists at low tide. Lunch is grilled over coals on board: whatever the market boat brought that morning.
17:30 — Golden hour
A traditional hilot massage in the open pavilion, coconut oil pressed on the island, while the sun does its slow theatre behind Culion.
20:00 — After dark
Dinner at the Tide Table, then gin pomelos by the fire pit. On moonless nights the plankton glow in the shallows — the staff will wake you if the sea lights up.
One kitchen, one long narra table, and a menu written at six in the morning — when the market banca ties up at the jetty.
Chef Bea Dimaculangan cooks the Calamianes the way her grandmother did, with better knives: kinilaw cured in native vinegar, lato straight from the tide pools, cashew from the next island over. Tell the concierge what you can’t eat; everything else is negotiable.
Thirty metres off the villas, a protected coral garden with resident turtles. Guided freediving every morning, masks and fins waiting at the jetty.
Our bancas leave at first light, so you float in Coron’s limestone lagoons an hour before the day boats arrive — and are home for a late breakfast.
Island hilot massage, herbal steam baths, and a scrub of ground rice and cacao. The spa is an open pavilion; the soundtrack is the tide.
Our most requested itinerary. A daybed, a stack of books from the Cove House library, and someone appearing with calamansi juice at intervals.
“We came for three nights and stayed six. Nobody ever asked for our room number — they just knew.”
“The reef at dawn, pandesal still warm on the deck. I have been chasing that morning ever since.”
“It ruined hotels for us, honestly. Dalisay feels less like a resort and more like a rumour.”
Step one · 1 hr
Morning flights from Manila (MNL) to Busuanga (USU). We meet you at arrivals — look for the woven Dalisay fan, not a clipboard.
Step two · 30 min
A short air-conditioned drive to our private jetty, with cold towels, buko juice, and the first sight of the Calamianes’ limestone.
Step three · 40 min
Our own boat crosses to the island. Shoes come off at the jetty; they will be cleaned, and honestly, you won’t ask for them back.
Seas are calmest December through May. In rougher months we hold the crossing until the coast guard smiles — your first night in Coron town is on us if we wait.
Amihan looks after arrivals, villas, and the shape of your days. Try her — this is a scripted demonstration of the booking agent Bagwis builds into client sites. It never pretends to be live and collects nothing.
Twelve villas fill quietly. Tell us your dates and we will write back the same day — a person, not a portal.
Rates include all meals, the house bar, non-motorised water sports, and airport transfers. Children are welcome in the Garden Pool Villas and the Cove House.
